Closing Evening with Etienne Klein

Was there ever a beginning to the Universe?
Conference by Etienne Klein, open to the general public
Friday, June 5th
8PM
Etienne Klein is a past master in the art of making science enjoyable and giving it its rightful place at the heart of our daily life. Whether talking about quantum physics or the philosophy of science, he enthrals his audience and uses simple words and humour to explain subjects which are too often considered to be incomprehensible. He will be at the Centre Prouvé to share his love of science and bring a week rich in science and culture events to a close on a high note.

Etienne Klein teaches at the Ecole Centrale in Paris and is head of the Laboratoire de Recherche sur les Sciences de la Matière (LARSIM) at the CEA. The author of many works of science popularisation, he presents a weekly radio programme, Scientific Conversations, on the French national radio France Culture.
