We are proud to announce a new partnership with France Culture, which supports Science & You.
France Culture is a national cultural radio which offers many programmes related to knowledge and science. Their science programs are very varied, and special attention is given to the history of science with “La Marche des Sciences” (Science on the Move), medicine “Révolutions médicales” (Medical Revolutions) or current affairs debates such as the impact of science on society with “Science publique” (Public Science).
Finally, how could we not mention “La Conversation scientifique” (Scientific Conversations), a programme presented by Etienne Klein, a physicist and sponsor of our event? Not just a dialogue between two scientists, this programme is above all a dialogue between two science enthusiasts. In sum, an exchange of opinions and thoughts that bridges the gap between science and society.
The number of science programmes in the broadcasting schedule demonstrates a firm commitment to popularising and disseminating science to the general public. There are two issues at stake here: these programmes aim both to satisfy the general public's curiosity and to provide them with information on scientific issues.
